Complete Your Pre-Licensing Education
Enroll in our state-approved 60-hour Virginia Real Estate Salesperson Pre-Licensing Course and complete all required coursework to satisfy Virginia's education requirement for licensure.
Pass Your Course Final Assessment
Once you've completed the 60-hour pre-licensing course, pass the course final exam to demonstrate your understanding of Virginia real estate principles and prepare for the state licensing exam.
Complete the Background Check
As part of the licensing process, you'll be required to complete a criminal background check and provide fingerprints or any additional documentation requested by the Virginia Real Estate Board.
Apply for Your Virginia Real Estate License
Submit your salesperson license application to the Virginia Real Estate Board along with the required documentation and applicable fees.
Pass the Virginia State Licensing Exam
Schedule and pass the Virginia Real Estate Salesperson Licensing Examination administered by PSI. A passing score is required before you can apply for your Virginia real estate license.
