Complete Your Pre-Licensing Education
Enroll in our state-approved 75-hour Pennsylvania Real Estate Salesperson Pre-Licensing Course and complete all required coursework to satisfy Pennsylvania's education requirement for licensure.
Pass Your Course Final Exam
Once you've completed the 75-hour pre-licensing course, pass the course final exam to demonstrate your understanding of Pennsylvania real estate principles and prepare for the state licensing exam.
Complete the Background Check
As part of the licensing process, you may be required to complete a criminal background check and provide any additional documentation requested by the Pennsylvania Real Estate Commission.
Apply for Your Pennsylvania Real Estate License
Apply for your Pennsylvania real estate salesperson license through the Pennsylvania Real Estate Commission. Submit your application, required documentation, and licensing fees. You'll also need to be affiliated with a licensed Pennsylvania employing broker before your license can be issued.
Pass the State Licensing Exam
Licensing exams in Pennsylvania are conducted by PSI Examination Services. You must schedule your examination with PSI and pay the applicable non-refundable examination fee. You need to get a score of 75% or higher on both the national and Pennsylvania state portions to pass the real estate salesperson licensing exam in Pennsylvania.
