Complete the Background Check

Apply for Your Montana Real Estate License
Submit your salesperson license application to the Montana Board of Realty Regulation along with the required documentation and applicable fees.
Pass the State Licensing Exam
Licensing exams in Montana are conducted by PSI Examination Services. You must schedule your examination with PSI and pay the applicable non-refundable examination fee. You need to get a score of 80% or higher on the national portion and 70% or higher on the Montana state portion to pass the real estate salesperson licensing exam in Montana.
