How to Earn Your Georgia Real Estate License
Follow these essential steps to launch your real estate career in Get Your Georgia Real Estate License
Complete Your Pre-Licensing Education
Enroll in our state-approved 75-hour Georgia Real Estate Salesperson Pre-Licensing Course and complete all required coursework to satisfy Georgia's education requirement for licensure.
Pass the Course Final Exam
Once you've completed the 75-hour pre-licensing course, pass the course final exam to demonstrate your understanding of Georgia real estate principles and prepare for the state licensing exam.
Complete the Background Check
Complete the required background check and obtain a Georgia Crime Information Center (GCIC) criminal history report in accordance with Georgia Real Estate Commission requirements.
Apply for Your Georgia Real Estate License
Apply for your Georgia real estate salesperson license through the Georgia Real Estate Commission (GREC). Submit your application, required documentation, and licensing fees. You'll also need to be affiliated with a licensed Georgia qualifying broker before your license can be issued.
Pass the Georgia State Licensing Exam
Schedule your exam with PSI Examination Services at least 24 hours in advance. The state exam tests both national and Georgia-specific real estate knowledge. You’ll need a score of 75% or higher to pass and officially earn your Georgia real estate license.
