Complete Your Pre-Licensing Education
Enroll in a state-approved pre-licensing course and complete all 168 hours to meet Colorado’s educational requirements for licensure.
Pass Your Course Final Exam
Successfully complete your course final exam to demonstrate mastery of essential real estate principles and satisfy graduation requirements.
Complete the Background Check
Complete the required fingerprinting and criminal background check in accordance with the requirements of the Colorado Division of Real Estate (DRE).
Apply for Your Colorado Real Estate License
Submit your broker license application to the Colorado Division of Real Estate (DRE) along with the required documentation and applicable fees.
Pass the State Licensing Exam
Licensing exams in Colorado are administered by PSI Examination Services. You must schedule your exam with PSI and pay the applicable non-refundable examination fee. You need to achieve a passing score on both the national and Colorado state portions of the real estate broker licensing exam in Colorado.
